The Roomba 675 isn’t as fancy or tech-packed as some other models from iRobot, but it does boast a lot of value for its price.
While you won’t get a sophisticated, self-emptying docking station, or the ability to pair to the Braava M6, you still get a plethora of features for a pretty decent price.

Auto-Adjust Mode: The vacuum detects when it moves from one flooring surface to another and changes the suction power.
Dirt Detect: The 675 can detect and seek out dirty areas on your floor.
Voice Commands: Connect to your Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa to command your Roomba 675 by voice. “Alexa, tell Roomba to clean the kitchen.”
Auto-Charge: While your Roomba 675 has a battery runtime of 90 minutes, it will recharge halfway through its job if it senses there is too much left for the current battery charge.
iRobot App: The Home app from iRobot is very impressive and makes scheduling cleaning, see missed areas, and starting jobs very easy.
Roomba 675 Cleaning Performance
The Roomba 675 uses a bristle style rolling brush that works great on carpet and hardwood floorings. The long brush is excellent for picking up and removing pet hair. Where a lot of other robot vacuums tend to get tangled with pet hair, the 675 makes simple work of it.
The AeroVac filter does a good job at trapping in dusts and allergens as the 675 cleans your floor.
The Roomba 675 has a reported suction power of 600 pa, which is very good for this level of robot vacuum. This helps the robot vacuum to work very well no matter what surface it is on.
I did find the Roomba 675 to work better on hard surfaces, like tile, hardwood or laminates, over most carpets. It handles short and medium carpets ok, but could be better on thick and high-pile carpets.
Roomba 675 Design And Appearance
The Roomba 675 shares the design and appearance of a lot of its iRobot cousins. It is a simple round design, with very few buttons or indicators on top.
I find the Roomba 675 tp be very simple and classic looking. It is a nice looking robot vacuum, but definitely doesn’t stand out from the pack.
Buttons – Right in the middle you’ll find a large CLEAN button, which does just that. If you don’t want to use the app or voice commands, you simply hit that button and the Roomba will start working.
You also have a SPOT button and a DOCK button. Again, very straight forward. The Spot button will do a quick clean in whatever area you place the vacuum in. The Dock button will send the robot vacuum back to its docking station to charge.
Bumpers – The front section of the 675 is covered in bumpers, which allow the Roomba to feel its way around your furniture without causing and damage to itself or your household item.
Dust Bin – The dust bin can be accessed on the side of the Roomba 675. Simply release the latch and pull the bin out in order to empty it. Once it is empty, you simply slide the bin back into place.
Underneath – If you flip the Roomba over you’ll see a familiar sight (if you have every looked under any Roomba). You’ll find the rolling brush, along with the spinning edge brush. The spinning edge brush does great at collecting pet hair and other items that may be hard for the main brush to reach.
How Tall Is The Roomba 675?
The Roomba 675 is only 3.6″ tall, making it perfect for vacuuming under couches, chairs and kitchen cabinets.
The 675 does very well at getting into tight places to clean, where some bulkier robots, like some from Shark or Neato might not fit.
How Much Does The Roomba 675 Cost?
The Roomba 675 is an entry level robot vacuum that you can pick up for under $250. You can often find them on sale on Amazon for under $200. Be sure to check that you are purchasing a new model if you use Amazon, and not a refurbished one.
Is The Roomba 675 Worth It?
If you want a budget-friendly option that still has a lot of great features, like WIFI connectivity, smart home integration, and easy app usage, then the 675 is a great value.
If this is your first robot vacuum or your first Roomba, then you will be very happy with the performance and value of the Roomba 675.
