Cats are very low maintenance pets to own. If you have a cat, you know that for the most part, they just want to be left alone and prefer not to be bothered. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that cats prefer privacy when they have to do their business in the litter box.

This is where the iPettie Nova Cat Litter Box comes into play. It provides a low maintenance solution that gives your feline friend all the privacy she needs when nature calls.

In this article we’ll talk about if the iPettie Litter Box is right for you, the pros and cons, and if I would buy this product for my home. So let’s dive into the review.

I probably would not purchase the iPettie Nova Litter Box. You’ll have to read on to hear my reasons for this, but that is my quick answer. I do reference some better options, in my opinion, below in this article.

What Is The iPettie Nova Cat Litter Box?

The iPettie Nova Cat Liter Box is modern take on litter boxes that offers your cat more privacy and an easy-to-clean solution for your home.

The litter box is almost entirely enclosed, except for a small spherical hole that your cat can enter and exit through.

Does The iPettie Litter Box Smell?

The iPettie Litter Box comes with an activated carbon filters that helps to trap odors. This really keeps the litter box from smelling or filling up your room with unpleasant odors.

The filter is very easy to change and easily accessible on the rear of the device.

CONS For The iPettie Nova Litter Box

• The open may be too small for some cats

Better Options For Modern Cat Litter Boxes

I have looked at several modern litter box options on the market and I also come back to The Litter Robot as my top pick.

Now the Litter Robot, no matter the model, is going to be more expensive. It is a more autonomous litter box that the iPettie litter box. The Litter Robot actually sifts and clumps up the litter for you so it is easier to remove. It also looks much sleeker and more modern, in my opinion. 

Here is a recent article I did about the Litter Robot VS Cat Genie. The Genie is another good option, but it requires more maintenance and set up.

Closing Thoughts On iPettie Nova Litter Box

They have a good concept here, but unfortunately it needs to be improved upon. The unit is just too small for most cats and it doesn’t work well if you have more than one cat.

I do like how easy it is to take apart and clean and I also like the overall appearance of the unit.

But, again, I feel there are better options out there if you are looking for a modern looking litter box for your cats.
